Before you sign: the two ways a Chaturbate account can be set up
Chaturbate has no separate studio product. Any ordinary account can act as a studio, and broadcasters are attached to it through a registration link that carries the studio’s username. This is what Chaturbate’s own help centre said when we checked it on 13 October 2026.
| Question | Account in your own name | Broadcaster account under a studio |
|---|---|---|
| Who signs Chaturbate’s agreement | You sign the Independent Broadcaster Agreement and pass age verification | You still sign the Independent Broadcaster Agreement and pass age verification yourself |
| Who can convert tokens | You, from Token Stats, while your age verification is active | No one on your side: broadcasters in a studio cannot convert tokens |
| Where the token balance goes | It stays on your account until you convert it | It moves to the studio account automatically every night |
| Who sees the earnings breakdown | You, in your own statistics | The studio, per broadcaster, under “Sub Account” in its stats |
| Who receives the payout | The payee you set up, who must be 18+ and sign the agreement | The studio’s payee; the studio then pays you |
| How you join | Normal registration | A new account registers through the studio link; an existing account can be added only by Chaturbate support |
