Lovense Stream Master is Lovense's free desktop app for cam models. It connects Lovense toys, turns tips into vibrations and includes its own built-in OBS, so you can broadcast to one cam site or to several at once. Download it only from lovense.com/stream-master: on 13 October 2026 Lovense lists installers for Windows 10 or 11 and for macOS 10.15 or later (separate Intel and Apple Silicon builds), and none for Linux, iPad or Android. If you stream from your own OBS Studio with Chrome or Edge, you are on a different path, the Cam Extension.

Which Lovense Setup Are You Using?
Lovense offers several tools with overlapping names. Pick your path before you install anything, because instructions for one path configure the wrong program on another.
| Your path | You are on it when | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| Stream Master with built-in OBS | You broadcast from the Stream Master app and its toy, tip and scene settings | This guide |
| Cam Extension with your own OBS Studio | You run a separate OBS Studio, connect the toy through the Lovense extension in Chrome or Edge and use OBS Toolset for on-screen feedback | Lovense Cam Extension and OBS Toolset setup |
| Lovense Browser | You still open cam sites inside the old Lovense Browser | Move to one of the two paths above: Lovense stopped updating it on 1 September 2023 |
| OBS or the site's own broadcaster, no toy | You only need video and sound | The site's OBS guide in the site notes and the webcam streaming hub |
Is Stream Master the same as OBS?
No. Stream Master contains a built-in copy of OBS for scenes and output, wrapped in Lovense's own toy connection, tip rules, chat window and apps. A separate OBS Studio installation is a different program with its own settings. If both are installed, check which one is actually sending your stream.
Do I have to stream through Lovense for the toy to react?
No. Stream Master is one route. The Cam Extension reads tips on the cam site in your browser while you broadcast from standalone OBS. Some sites also have their own toy integration: LiveJasmin, for example, pairs supported toys inside its own JasminCam software.
Is Lovense Browser the same as Stream Master?
No. Lovense Browser was an older browser with the extension built in. Lovense's Mac guide states that it has received no updates since 1 September 2023 and recommends Stream Master instead. Old tutorials that start with Lovense Browser are out of date.
Download Stream Master Safely
Use the official download on lovense.com/stream-master or lovense.com/cam-model/download. Both pages listed the same three installers on 13 October 2026.
| Computer | Installer listed by Lovense | Requirement stated |
|---|---|---|
| Windows PC | Yes | Windows 10 or 11 |
| Mac with Intel processor | Yes, separate build | macOS 10.15 or later |
| Mac with Apple Silicon (M-series) | Yes, separate build | macOS 10.15 or later |
| Windows 8 or older | No | Not supported by the stated requirement |
| Linux | No | No installer listed |
| iPhone, iPad or Android | No Stream Master app | Your phone can still connect the toy through the Lovense Connect app |
| Chromebook | No | Lovense's FAQ suggests side-loading the Cam Extension in Chrome instead |
On a Mac, choose the build that matches your processor (Apple menu → About This Mac). The download page also points Chrome and Edge users to the Cam Extension; that is the other path, not a second copy of Stream Master.
Copies of Lovense's guides circulate on unrelated domains. Before you download, check that the address bar reads www.lovense.com over HTTPS. Never install an installer sent in chat, a direct message or a file-sharing link, even when it carries the Lovense name.
If Stream Master Won't Open After Installing
- Confirm the computer meets the stated requirement. Windows 8 and macOS versions older than 10.15 are outside it.
- On a Mac, check that you installed the build for your processor.
- Read your security software's message rather than switching protection off. Lovense's old Lovense Browser guide told users to disable antivirus; we do not recommend that for any download.
- Delete the downloaded file, download it again from the official page and reinstall.
- If it still fails, contact Lovense support with your OS version, the installer you used and the exact error.
First Connection: Toy, Site And Tip Rules
Lovense's step-by-step tutorial describes three steps after you sign in with a Lovense account.
- Connect the toy. Use Lovense Connect on the computer or on your phone. On a phone, open Lovense Connect and scan the QR code shown on the computer screen. On a Windows PC, the computer route uses the Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter; a Mac needs Bluetooth 4.0 or higher, according to Lovense's FAQ.
- Choose the cam site you will stream on.
- Set your tip rules. Keep the defaults or customise them. You can change them later.
Then click "Stream now". Stream Master opens your chosen site, and the first broadcast starts a setup wizard. Pick a broadcasting scene, preview it with "Check my OBS stream", then use "Send Test Tip". The toy should react according to your rules.
Three facts from Lovense's cam model FAQ save time here. The USB adapter supports up to five toys at once. The adapter is optional, because a Mac or a phone can make the connection instead. If a test tip fails, fill in every tip-level field and save, keep the phone and computer on the same Wi‑Fi network, and don't connect the computer through your phone's hotspot.
Designing the tip levels themselves (ranges, intensity, special commands) is a menu decision rather than a setup step. It is covered in our guide to Lovense tip levels and tip menus.
Multistream Inside Stream Master
Lovense's multistreaming tutorial adds each site as a separate output target in the built-in OBS. On 13 October 2026 the flow had three stages.
Step 1: Copy Each Site's Server And Stream Key
Every site gives you an RTMP server address and a private stream key (some call it a token). Where to find it is in the site notes below. Copy each pair into a private note, never into a chat or a screenshot.
Step 2: Add A Target For Each Site
- On the Stream Master home page, click "Advanced configures" at the bottom right of the preview to open the built-in OBS.
- Click "Add new target" at the top left.
- In the Streaming Settings window, paste the site's server into "RTMP Server" and its key into "RTMP Key", then click "OK".
- Repeat for each site. The targets appear in the Multiple output list.
- Select a target and click "Start" to send your stream to it.
The first time, OBS may show a pop-up about getting encoders. Lovense's tutorial says to click "Start Streaming" once, then start multistreaming again.
Step 3: Confirm Each Site Is Actually Live
Sending a stream and being live are not the same on every site. On Chaturbate, your room goes online as soon as the stream arrives. On Stripchat, the show only starts after you start it in the Broadcast Center. Check each site's own status indicator before you treat a target as live, and end the session on each site when you stop.
Load: Every Target Is Another Upload
Each target is a separate stream leaving your connection, so upload use multiplies. A worked example with round, fictional numbers: a 3,000 kbps video stream plus 96 kbps audio sent to three sites needs about 3 × 3,096 = 9,288 kbps, roughly 9.3 Mbps of steady upload, before any headroom for other traffic. If your measured upload is 10 Mbps, that leaves almost nothing spare.
- Add one target at a time and watch dropped frames and CPU or GPU load before adding the next.
- Use a hardware encoder where your computer has one and testing shows it is more stable.
- Lower resolution or frame rate before you sacrifice clear audio.
- Remove scene elements you don't need, such as animated overlays, browser sources and filters.
- Keep camera, microphone and toy adapter on stable USB ports, not unpowered hubs.
Permission Comes From Each Site, Not From Lovense
Lovense's FAQ says you can broadcast on an unlimited number of cam sites at one time. That is the software maker's statement, not the sites' permission. Stripchat's broadcasting information says it supports models who stream on other platforms at the same time, and LiveJasmin's splitter guide describes how to share a camera when you stream elsewhere too. Check every site's current terms, and any studio or management agreement you have signed, before streaming to them simultaneously.
One Chat Window: ChatBox
Stream Master's ChatBox gathers messages from all your sites in one window. Lovense says it can also show how much each viewer tipped and lets you take notes on viewers. Those notes are information about real people, so keep them minimal and never record personal details a viewer shares.
Settings: A Starting Process, Not A Universal Table
There is no single correct bitrate for every site. Each site publishes its own recommendations, and they don't always agree. At 1280×720, Chaturbate's OBS guide recommends 3,000–5,000 kbps and its RTMP settings page asks you to use at least the minimum of that range. Stripchat's OBS guide lists 1,500–2,500 kbps for the same resolution. One shared output cannot sit inside both ranges, so either set each target separately where your setup allows it, or decide knowingly which recommendation you will depart from.
| Site | Where it publishes OBS settings | 720p video bitrate it lists | Keyframe interval it lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaturbate | How do I set up OBS? and OBS/RTMP Information & Settings | 3,000–5,000 kbps | 2–5 seconds is fine |
| Stripchat | Stripchat OBS setup: stream key guide | 1,500–2,500 kbps | 2 seconds ("important") |
| MyFreeCams | MFC wiki: OBS | 3,000 kbps at 30 fps | 1 second in its NVENC example |
| LiveJasmin | Technical requirements | Not applicable: you broadcast through JasminCam | Not applicable |
All four rows were checked on 13 October 2026. Then work through the settings in this order:
- Run a wired upload test at the time you usually stream and note both the speed and how much it varies.
- Read the current limits of every site you will send to.
- Choose resolution, frame rate, encoder and bitrate that stay below your measured upload, multiplied by the number of targets.
- Make a short local recording and check motion, skin tones, sound and sync.
- Go live on one site first and watch OBS for dropped frames and encoding or rendering lag.
- Add further sites one at a time and stop adding when stability drops.
The OBS overview and its page on hardware encoding explain the general trade-offs. For camera and lighting choices, see the hardware and lighting guide.
Stream Master Troubleshooting By Symptom
Most faults sit in one of two separate paths: video and sound going out, or the toy and tip signal coming in. A working preview proves nothing about the toy, and a buzzing toy proves nothing about your stream. Find the row that matches what you see, and change one thing at a time.
| What you see | Most likely layer | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| Installer won't run or app won't open | Computer or download | OS version against the stated requirement, Mac build for your processor, a fresh official download |
| Can't log in, or the QR code won't scan | Account or session | Correct Lovense account; generate a fresh QR code; close other open sessions; update Lovense Connect |
| Toy connected on the phone but not on the computer | Network between devices | Same Wi‑Fi on both; no VPN on either device; no phone hotspot for the computer |
| "Send Test Tip" does nothing | Tip rules | Every tip-level field filled in and saved; the test amount falls inside one of your ranges |
| Toy reacts on one site but not another | Per-site settings | Lovense saves levels per cam site; set up or copy the settings for the second site |
| One tip amount triggers the wrong effect | Overlapping amounts | A Special Command and a Basic Level share an amount; Lovense says the Special Command wins |
| Widget shows no toy or no data on the site | Site-side link | Toy status in the Lovense widget; on Stripchat, the Broadcast Center open on only one device |
| Cam Extension stopped working in Chrome or Edge | Browser path, not Stream Master | Developer mode still on; follow the Cam Extension setup |
| A multistream target won't start | Encoder or target details | The first-run encoder pop-up; re-paste the server and key; regenerate the key on the site if it changed |
| OBS says streaming, but the site shows you offline | Site go-live step | Stripchat needs the show started in the Broadcast Center; on MyFreeCams a password change creates a new stream key |
| Dropped frames, "network" in OBS statistics | Upload path | Wired connection, other uploads, fewer targets, lower bitrate |
| Encoding lag | Encoder can't keep up | Hardware encoder, lower output resolution or frame rate |
| Rendering lag | GPU scene load | Animated overlays, browser sources, filters, canvas size |
| Camera freezes | USB or camera | Different port or cable, no unpowered hub, other apps using the camera |
The toy-side rows come from Lovense's FAQ and level guides and from Stripchat's Lovense troubleshooting article, all checked on 13 October 2026. Stripchat's article also notes that an expired QR code or session can hide the Lovense icon even when the app says it is connected.
Don't reinstall everything first. Save a private copy of working settings, note the exact error, and change the smallest failing layer. Reinstalling erases useful evidence and adds new variables.
Site Notes: Chaturbate, Stripchat, MyFreeCams And LiveJasmin
These are the four cam sites we work with. Button names come from each site's help pages on 13 October 2026 and can change.
| Site | Where the stream key is | What makes you live | Toy and tip menu notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaturbate | Broadcast Yourself → "Use External Encoder to Broadcast" → "View RTMP/OBS broadcast information and stream key"; generate a token if you have none | Starting the stream in OBS puts your room online, even if you are not logged in. Stop it in OBS: closing the browser does not end it | Chaturbate's interactive toys page refers you to the toy maker's documentation; a tip menu can go in your bio or run as an app from its App Directory |
| Stripchat | Start your broadcast, then "Switch to External Broadcast Software" for the RTMP URL and token | Starting OBS does not start the show; start it in the Broadcast Center and end it there | Lovense connects through the Interactive Toys panel; the Tip Menu sits under My Show Controls |
| MyFreeCams | Model Web Broadcaster → Options → External Broadcaster → Stream Key & URL; choose MyFreeCams as the OBS service | The ModelWeb preview shows "LIVE" while you broadcast; the key changes whenever your password changes | The MFC wiki had no Lovense setup page on the check date; its CharlesBot page notes the Lovense OBS toolkit may interfere with the prize wheel |
| LiveJasmin | You broadcast through JasminCam; OBS can act as a virtual camera or splitter if you also stream elsewhere | Going live happens in JasminCam | LiveJasmin pairs supported Lovense toys inside JasminCam and tells you not to connect them to the Lovense app first, so the Stream Master toy path does not apply there |
Lovense lists all four sites among its integrated cam sites on lovense.com/cam-model. That is Lovense's own description. Use the site's instructions when they differ.
Privacy Checklist For Lovense Streams
- Keep stream keys, tokens and Lovense QR codes off screen and out of screenshots. If one is exposed, regenerate it: Chaturbate has "Generate New Token", and on MyFreeCams a password change issues a new key.
- Give Control links hand your toy to a viewer for a set time. Lovense's widget tutorial says to set the time limit first, send the link to the tipper and not to open it yourself. You can end the session at any time.
- Treat ChatBox notes as records about real people. Keep them short and leave out anything personal.
- Before each broadcast, check the preview for windows, notifications, documents and room details you don't want to show.
- Connect the toy from one device only. Stripchat's help explains that a second device can override the toy status and hide your menu from viewers.
Our safety and privacy guide covers the wider set-up: geo-blocking, account recovery and what to keep separate from your private life.
If You'd Rather Not Run The Technical Side Alone
Free help comes first. Lovense support handles Stream Master, Connect and toys; the OBS help portal covers OBS itself; each cam site's support team handles your account, your stream key and rejected streams. When you write to any of them, include your OS and app versions, the steps that reproduce the fault and a screenshot with keys and personal details removed.
Some creators prefer not to manage this at all. With Space Management, streaming setup is part of the service where agreed: OBS configuration, multi-platform broadcasting, privacy controls per platform, and ongoing tech support. That scope is listed on our about page. If you want to see how working with us is arranged before deciding anything, read how management works. If you are still preparing, the free first-broadcast checklist needs no sign-up, and when you are ready you can check whether management fits you.
Lovense Software Status (Checked 13 October 2026)
Lovense's documentation is spread across many pages, and some still describe older software. This table records what the official pages said on the check date, with a link to each one.
| Item | Status on 13 October 2026 | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Stream Master for Windows | Installer listed; requires Windows 10 or 11 | Stream Master page |
| Stream Master for Mac | Separate Intel and Apple Silicon installers; requires macOS 10.15 or later | Stream Master page |
| Stream Master for Linux or mobile | No installer listed | Download page |
| Multistreaming | Built-in OBS → "Add new target" → RTMP Server and Key → Start per target | Multistreaming tutorial |
| Lovense Browser | No updates since 1 September 2023; Lovense recommends Stream Master | Mac guide |
| Cam Extension | For Chrome and Edge; installed from a .zip with "Load unpacked"; Developer mode must stay on; not available in the Chrome Web Store; download page showed V31.6.8 | Installation guide and cam model FAQ |
| OBS Toolset | Install OBS Studio first; the guide still cites OBS 22.0.0 and a 32-bit Windows download, which reads as legacy content | OBS Toolset guide |
| Alternatives to OBS Studio | Streamster and SplitCam, each with its own Lovense toolset | Cam Extension page |
| Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter | Optional; up to five toys connected at once | Cam model FAQ |
